Printco Central Inc’s Pre-Construction Engineering services include evaluating various design options for initial cost of construction (CAPEX), energy usage efficiency and equipment maintenance (OPEX), return on investment (ROI), and total cost of ownership (TCO). This gives our customers multiple options to choose the most effective electrical design for their needs during the design development phase of the project. We also provide conceptual design and budgeting analysis so our customers can evaluate the initial feasibility of their proposed project.

 

When renovating an existing building, our Pre-Construction Engineering team will visit your project site to evaluate existing conditions to help determine how best to expand your facilities and suit your needs. We offer power monitoring and analysis to help our customers determine if expansion of their current electrical systems are required or as a tool to identify and correct power problems within their facility.

Our Pre-Construction team will work with the Project Owner and General Contractor during project development to write a Basis of Design and a project specification as they might be required for each specific project. This information, along with the derived set of conceptual pre-construction drawings, is then passed to the Printco Central Inc. Design Engineering Department for further development into Permit and Construction Drawings. The Pre-Construction team will continue with oversight during the permit design and trade coordination (BIM) phase to assure compliance with project requirements as determined during the design development phase of the project.

The Pre-Construction team evaluates all major equipment submittals for compliance with project criteria and operational needs, confirming the equipment is being ordered with all components and attributes necessary for a successful and timely completion of the project.
